What Thurman Stanton doesn't like about Stillwater Restaurant:
I recently went to StillWater for lunch. The dish i ordered was overpriced $30 for rock hard avocado, beets that tasted like they were from a can and under cooked Quinoa. The dessert (sticky date) was so dry and lacked flavour. I don't mind paying money if the quality and service is good. I think there are far better places around Launceston for quality of food View all feedback. What Maryam Barton likes about Stillwater Restaurant:
the food was here. it is a fusion of Asian and Tasmanian foods. the oyster was fresh, the wild wallaby was on our expectation. I especially loved the black lip abalone, truffled calamari. the less the part abit was small. the waitress had recommended pinot noir was in the did great wein. the price was abit expensive. read moreStillwater in Launceston offers a dining experience that has received mixed reviews. Some customers have complained about overpriced and underwhelming dishes, while others have raved about the fusion of Asian and Tasmanian cuisine, with highlights such as oysters, harissa prawns, and baked snapper. The restaurant's waterside location and attentive staff have also been praised, making Stillwater a must-visit spot in Tasmania. However, concerns have been raised about the wine list and pricing, indicating areas for improvement. Ultimately, Stillwater is a restaurant that offers a mixed bag of experiences, but is still considered a standout choice for dining in Launceston.
