We arrived hoping to taste a few wines and buy some cases. As we walked through the garden and in into the bottle room a few groups/couple were already tasting. Someone passed and said hello but seemed preoccupied with others and sadly did not engage at all, so we left. I guess you have to book here. Shame. Anyway we drive round the corner to the incredible and welcoming Weingut Phillp Kuhn and had the tasting of our lives there. Bought several cases from there instead.

The wines are obviously of outstanding quality and it's absolutely worthwhile and recommended to visit this producer, where one can taste and purchase the absolute best of German white and red wine.
