What Kay l doesn't like about Cafe Caramba:
I have been on the hunt for a place that serves a delicious Cuban breakfast and cafe con leche near my home. After trying this place twice, I have to say their cafe con leche and cortadito were just average. They didn't wow me like I was expecting, as Cuban coffee usually does. The breakfast was also just okay, not terrible but not the best either. I may give them another chance and try their non-breakfast dishes. On... View all feedback.
Recently a fast lunch. the service was good. my Cuban sandwich super tasty and my friend had a ropa vieja dish with tears and buds. finished with some sweet cookies and was about $20 or something.
I frequent this place 2-3 times a week for breakfast and coffee. Always made to order. Great food Great service.
Ive only been here for breakfast and coffee and its been consistent and delicious. Great spot for latinos looking for their coffee fix with some great desserts as well. I always get my scrambled eggs and ham sandwich and it's perfect every time. Ill surely try more dishes and will update accordingly.
I've been here on three different occasions and I've been impressed each time. Yes, as others have said, the service is slow, but in my opinion it is worth it. This is not a dine and dash kind of place. They do have carryout, which I've seen a couple people do while I've waiting. I've eaten breakfast here twice. I ordered the philly omelette and it was superb. The quantity was plentiful and the quality was decent. The coffee separates Cafe Caramba from many of the other breakfast joints. The espresso is delicious and much better than your typical diner coffee. I usually order a cafe con leche and I've enjoyed it every time. The cafe cubano is always a win as well. My favorite part of this restaurant is the ambiance. Yes it's in a strip mall. The decor is simple, but it's the family atmosphere I love. Kids are usually sitting at the table working on homework. There's a big TV with soccer on and usually a couple older gentleman watching a match. You feel at home like a family when you walk in. I love living near Cafe Caramba.
Excellent Cuban breakfast option in this side of Broward. Great find. I'm looking forward to coming back to try their lunch and dinner options.
