What User doesn't like about Tala American Bistro:
our server was polite. my sangria was too sweet and after a few sips reminded me of robitussin. the lobster bisque was a lobster flavored cream broth with absolutely no substance was more like cream of mushroom soup without the mushrooms. my chicken piccata and sides were good, but not exceptional and the hard fish of my partner had a very sweet sauce not to our pleasure. the restaurant is attractive, but we were dis... Incredible restaurant. The ambience was so beautiful and perfect. Food and staff were exceptional. I loved the steamed edamame dumplings. Go back!
I have dined at Tala a few times in the last 2 weeks ... Atmosphere was amazing under the tent.. The Food was AMAZING and Service also.They were Practicing all COVID Guidelines. I would recommend stopping by for an enjoyable evening.
Nice place. No loud music. I had the arugula salad that had tomato, onions, fried gost cheese medallions, lemon juice balsamic and evoo and added salmon. Perfect. My husband had the porterhouse pork chops which were excellent. My son had a burger and liked it. My daughter had shrimp scampi. Service was good. Moderately priced but a little higher than we normally pay. I would go back.
1st time at Tala on Valentine's Day 2017. Service was superb! Great food and great price. I never order dessert but I did that night. Great place to dine out. Good tip from friends and I will certainly be going back.
Two friends and I ventured there Saturday night, early, and had the most delicious interesting and beautifully presented meal. Service was professional and not intrusive; our needs were met with a smile; and everything was just super. We eat in fine places all over New England and agreed that Tala was up there with the best of them We will be back, for sure!
