Panera Bread - LATHAM
Panera Bread
Description
Panera presents dependable bakery fare, steady soups and sandwiches, and roomy, well-kept dining areas with varied seating and occasional fireplaces. Convenience features like online rapid pickup, drive-through and a coffee subscription appeal to commuters and families, while thoughtful allergy accommodations earn praise. Service and quality vary by location: many cite friendly managers and consistency, but others report slow drive-throughs, uneven smoothies, reheated items, and limited vegan choices. Rising prices temper enthusiasm, making Panera a convenient occasional stop rather than a one-size-fits-all daily option.

I feel the need to update my previous review. The food is all frozen and simply reheated. The staff is rude and unhelpful. I cannot recommend this chain. If you're mindful of your health, it's better to steer clear of this restaurant.
This upscale restaurant features a wide variety of dishes that are perfect for any mealtime, along with plenty of spacious parking available.
Have had horrible experience with Panera since they moved. I took a chance yet again today and ended up getting a green passion smoothie. It?s not even a smoothie, not even halfway blended. It had huge ice chunks in it along with huge pieces of spinach.
This Panera usually deserves 5 stars. However, tonight I tried something new and ordered a half steak sandwich, and it was by far the most disappointing steak and cheese sandwich I've ever had.
Dining in is definitely the best option at this location. The well-maintained and comfortable dining area is ideal for a quick meal. The drive-through has seen significant improvements as well. However, the service tends to decline as closing time approaches. About an hour before closing, I noticed that some items and cutlery were missing. It’s fine during off-peak hours, but you might be taking a chance at other times of the day.
