I had been to many other “super food bars” and did not find them to be very exciting. That was until I stopped in at Our Daily Bowl. From the moment I walked in I felt welcomed and saw the staff eager to help.I asked for custom options for the açaí bowls and settled for fresh fruit and granola topped with Nutella. It was just perfect. Why was it perfect? It was made with a lot of love and care ?.Please give this place a try. You will be glad you did.

Wow, an açaí bowl, fruit smoothie place in Newtonville! I've been driving by wondering when they would open. Well I guess they've been open for about a month now. They don't have a paper menus or a website yet, just a Facebook page. They have a large chalkboard menu with smoothies on one side and açaí bowls on the other and add on's and other things in the middle. The first thing I noticed was the price. They're expensive with everything in the $15 range. I didn't have time to peruse the entire menu so I chose The Hazel, an açaí bowl. It was quite large and included various sliced fruit, Nutella, granola, a few coconut shreds and of course açaí. I had never had açaí and it's like less sweet sorbet. The bowl was attractive and tasted very good. The fruit was fresh and the flavors blended well. Apparently they serve avocado toast as well. I'm sure I'll bring my kids back sometime. I can see this as an occasional treat. The girls who served me were very friendly.
