The owner, Constance, is cheerful and attentive to her customers. Our waitress did a great job explaining the menu and made excellent recommendations. The food was delicious, and the portions were generous. We started with pulled pork bites and beef tartare as appetizers, enjoyed a palate cleanser of lemon sorbet with gin, had beef chuck for the main course, and finished with chocolate royal for dessert. We feel truly fortunate to have such an outstanding restaurant in L'Assomption. The owner, Mathieu, checked in on us several times during our meal to make sure everything was perfect.
