Soul Food Cafe - Las Vegas

We went her last year to take our New Year's Eve dinner while on vacation. The food was great. True soul food to hot water corn pie: We will return to Vegas on our next trip.

I've had the chicken and waffles and the cat fish. Both are delicious. Start off with cornbread pancakes! Awesome!!

I will start off by saying, great hospitality!! But, the food wasn?t that tasteful for the price of the food. Cornbread didn?t taste like much but butter and bread. Sweet tea tasted like kool aide, sink water and a bunch of sugar. Greens tastes like water, with some salt added. Hot link was really good, with Barbecue sauce and the yams are really good!! Now since I been here, I know what to get and what not to get.

This is my second time I've been to this restaurant in a week. My boyfriend's mom wanted to take me for my birthday anywhere in Las Vegas and I choose to come back to the Soul Food Cafe the atmosphere is fantastic they always playing beautiful music and the food is fabulous. If you're looking for good service, smiling faces, and great authentic soul food then I highly recommend this place. Ask for Miss Pearl she always has a smile on her face and she'll give you great service.

I called ahead to make reservations but there were not necessary. We were able to walk in and be seated. Christina our awesome wait staff was most knowledgeable about the whole menu and myself being Vegan she helped me with what to order. My whole meal was amazing!!!
