Contribute FeedbackDespite some mixed feelings about certain dishes like the vodka sauce and risotto, Rao's was overall a hit with many diners. The meatballs and pasta received high praise, while the ambience and service were also highlighted as positive aspects. Some customers were disappointed by the reduced menu options and increased prices, but others expressed anticipation for the restaurant's reopening in a new location. Overall, Rao's seems to have left a positive impression on most customers, despite some setbacks and disappointments.
They were out of Chicken Parm (veal parmigiana is no longer on the menu We had of people very disappointed. Hard to believe that Rao’s could be out of Chicken Parmigiana on a Sunday night. I made the reservation months ago. Won’t put Rao’s on the list for next year. Definitely will spend somewhere else. I make better Salmon at home and the lemon chicken was tough and hard to get off the bone Meatballs and Caesar salad were great.
That fact that the person that owns this is changing it to something else shows that all people with money didn’t get it by being smart!
It definitely has a very lived in feeling old time restaurant which I love. From our drinks at the bar with Renee to our beautiful dinner with Oscar it was perfection.
From the greeting and seating to desert everything was top notch. Service was impeccable and the food delicious! Will definitely be going back once they reopen in their new location.
Wonderful experience! The food was delicious. The waiters and all the staff were courteous and efficient.
