Wow! We were completely blown away by this place—it exceeded all our expectations! We had the pleasure of meeting the owners, Marie and Kenny, who made our dining experience truly enjoyable. We shared laughter throughout the entire dinner. The food was incredible; the kimchi fried rice was exceptional. Every dish offered amazing value and was absolutely delicious. We can’t wait to come back frequently! View all feedback.
What Christian W doesn't like about Konbea Belt Sushi:
This is probably one of the worst sushi places my family and I ever tried. The cardinal rule of the rice being perfect was clearly not followed since we can tell some grains were very old and burnt/dried up. The service was slightly below standards and personally it seems like they were just very short staffed that day so nothing against the staff. We visited a couple of months ago before it permanently closed. Unfortunately, the food quality declined after the COVID reopening.

When I arrived to pick up my order at 10 PM, I was shocked to see that the prices on the receipt were significantly higher than those listed on the menu and on Yelp. In fact, the prices on the receipt were nearly triple what I expected. I inquired about the huge discrepancy, but the staff member couldn’t provide an explanation. I ended up paying for the order because I didn’t want to be that person who skips out on a big order late at night. While the sushi was delicious, I realized that for the amount I spent, I could have opted for an all-you-can-eat option instead. It’s disappointing because I thought I did the right thing by calling ahead and ensuring I ordered in time, and I also believed I was getting a great deal. I’m sure the all-you-can-eat experience is worth it, but just be cautious when ordering takeout.
Great tasting sushi. Very friendly staff. Cool idea with the conveyer. Would higly recomend going here for late night sushi. If you want the conveyer go for lunch.

The service was slightly below standards and personally it seems like they were just very short staffed that day so nothing against the staff. Parking is limited due to the restaurant being located in one of the smaller plazas in China Town. The menu seems creative enough but again that should be followed through with quality, fresh rice.
