What Logan Mathos doesn't like about Good Pie:
Short: mostly a bar but with pizza by the slice in several different stylesNY slice I had was decent. More cheddar flavored cheese than what is normal. Good thickness, average crust. Extra star for convenience of being beer shopping and other entertainments, but can’t help but feel like the B-team was working during Saturday lunch when I was here. I tryed to contact them before writing a review to give them a chance to make it right, but noone seems to care to reply. The dough of the pizza was very undercooked and in some parts even raw. Most of the pizza was not edible, the buffalo chicken had a rancid aftertaste to it and I had both pizzas there before, they tasted completly different.Goodpie is okish pizza, but that was not edible, 80 dollars for 2 take away pizzas wasted.
Perfect spot to grab a slice or a whole pizza. Huge selection of different styles of pizza. New York style, Detroit style, Grandma's style, and Sicilian style. You can't go wrong with any choice here. Also a great spot to grab a drink or dessert canolis are very good.Food: 5/5
Didn’t know of this place when we set out on foot from the hotel for dinner. The restaurant we went to first was closed early for a private function. The second couldn’t seat our party of 5 for 3.5 hours. Heard the hostess mention Good Pie to the party in front of me, so we went there. All’s well that ends well. Fantastic all the way around. Everything was delicious: garlic knots, meatballs, Caesar salad (with house-made croutons), cheese pizza, pepperoni pizza, and Brooklyn Quality Meat pizza. Fresh-brewed iced tea in a Mason jar. Great service. Loved it.

I was one of those weird kids that was not a fan of pizza. I know. Crazy. As I got older, I appreciated pizza more, especially when I learned that some places let you customize the pizza and other places have pizzas that don 't always use a tomato sauce base (I never cared for tomato sauce). When I moved to Vegas, my co worker told me that I had to try Good Pie. One Saturday night, while waiting for software updates to load, I decided that dinner would be Good Pie...and I was so glad I made that decision. Good Pie is just south of Downtown Las Vegas, in the arts district. It 's only got street parking, so be prepared for that. While it was close to Downtown, the restaurant itself definitely had a new and contemporary look on the outside. The ambiance inside was of a busy, clean, and friendly neighborhood pizza place. I placed my order online so I just had to go in and pick up my order.Now...the stuff you really want to know...the food. I ordered:Caesar salad if this is a store bought dressing, it sure didn 't taste like it. Great flavor that makes other caesar dressings pale in comparison. Definitely didn 't expect that. I will always order caesar salad from here with my pizza. Grandma 'Shroom pizza with ricotta and fresh garlic added on my favorite pizza. EVER. No exaggeration. It 's a white pizza with lots of garlic, caramelized onions, mushrooms, and mini piles of creamy ricotta cheese on top of a crust that is thick enough to have a nice chew to it yet still have a crispy bottom. Add to that a drizzle of the hot honey and :chef 's kiss:. Simply magical. I will drive the 10 miles to get this pizza.Cannoli classic. One end has chocolate chips. The other end has chopped pistachios. Light, crisp shell with a creamy filling. Also add a drizzle of that hot honey and you have perfection.
