I have been wanting to dine at this restaurant for a long time and it was worth the wait. The place is always busy, but I was able to get in early on a weekday. Their banh mi is a must-try, but I hear everything on their menu is excellent. Tourists with their luggage can be seen enjoying a meal before their flight. This spot is incredibly popular for Vietnamese cuisine. In conclusion, indulge in some delicious Vietna... View all feedback.
What sunny n doesn't like about Co Ann Sandwich And Noodle Kitchen:
Plenty of great options here you can?t really find at other Vietnamese restaurants. Everything was delicious but the Nem Nuong Cuon and the Bot Chien Trung were especially exceptional. Reminded me of being back in Vietnam, will definitely be returning! View all feedback.
The food was mediocre and did not leave a lasting impression. The Mi Sate Bo (egg noodle beef sate soup) was disappointing due to an overwhelming peanut flavor. The banh cuon and banh beo were decent. The restaurant is a bit overpriced considering the casual atmosphere. Overall, not worth making a return visit for.
The food is delicious! The banh mi is a must-have for the road trip back. It's probably the best I've ever had. The prices are also very reasonable. I appreciate that they open early. I would definitely recommend this place.
Rating: 4.6/5 (dine in) We arrived 20 minutes before closing time, but we were still seated without feeling rushed. The service was good and our food came out quickly. While their prices are higher than other California Vietnamese restaurants, the food was absolutely delicious! Bún Thang ($13.95): I requested clear flat rice noodles instead of the usual egg vermicelli, and it paired perfectly with the broth. The broth was amazing, one of the best I've had. You really don't need any sauce besides the samba chili if you like it spicy. They give generous toppings and protein. I had never tried this dish before, but I loved it. My only issue was that some of the shredded chicken was a bit dry. Banh Beo ($11.95): Banh Beo served in California is usually quite basic, but here they were generous with their fillings and toppings, giving it much more flavor. The nuoc mam was great too, making it better than most places. Xoi Man ($11.95): This dish was a pleasant surprise. It may look ordinary, but when you take a bite of the sticky rice, it's sweet and coconut-flavored! It paired well with the savory Chinese sausage and chicken, and for an extra flavor boost, add some nuoc mam. Highly recommended!
This restaurant serves authentic Vietnamese food that isn't just pho! The #15 dish is especially delicious, made with hu Tieu (your choice of noodles - I highly recommend the rice noodles). They also offer Bánh bao that sells out daily, as well as great Bánh Cuon and tasty Bánh mi sandwiches. The customer service is done in Vietnamese style, where you sit down, order, eat, and enjoy. The dine-in space is small but turnover is quick. I definitely recommend this place if you're looking for something different than the usual pho or bun thit nuong dishes.
I enjoy coming to this restaurant for their banh mi or chicken rice. The food is delicious and the restaurant has become very popular over the years, so it's important to time your visit correctly to avoid long waits. The space is small, and when I arrived around 10am, all the tables were already occupied. Fortunately, there was only one person ahead of me in line for takeout, so I only had to wait a few minutes for my order.
