The menu clearly indicates which items can be prepared vegan. We tried the "Near Burrito," a delicious smashed burrito filled with mushrooms. The rice and beans were well prepared, and we thoroughly enjoyed the burrito. It was a pleasant surprise to find vegan options at the hotel where we were staying. The prices are a bit high, but considering the restaurant is located in a casino, it was expected. View all feedback.
What Ashly Harber doesn't like about Carlos N Charlie's:
The restaurant's menu was clearly labeled as vegan, but unfortunately, the food I ordered came with cheese in it. When I brought this up to the bartender, they seemed confused and even asked if there was meat in the dish. It was evident that the employees were not properly trained on the menu offerings. I was happy with the vegan options in this restaurant. I have the fajitas and really enjoyed them. it was nice to see broccoli and flower cabbage included! it also came with a lot of food. tears and drilling are well done. the table page guacamole is great. fresh guacamole is always a hit.
Several vegan options clearly marked. Spouse had the vegan enchiladas and I had the vegan fajitas. Both were tasty. Mine came with real sour cream, though, on the side. Don’t know if the retried beans are vegan.
Vegan food right on the Strip is limited, and this place has several options that are clearly marked on the menu. Our server was eager to check with the kitchen on any vegan-related questions she didn’t already know, and even went out of her way to come back after we’d ordered and tell us about more sauce options that were vegan. Each vegan dish is different enough that you could eat here a few times if you’re staying nearby. Rice and beans are both vegan, and there is vegan cheese for the vegan (Beyond) burger. Food quality is about what you’d expect from a restaurant in a Vegas hotel, but at least there’s some clearly vegan stuff! Eat outside on the patio to get away from the smokers.

I ordered the vegan-friendly fajitas and was pleasantly surprised to find that they were made with well-seasoned vegetables instead of meat. They were incredibly tasty! The restaurant also had a variety of other options available. The seating areas, both inside and outside, were beautifully decorated.
