What Joanny Hudson doesn't like about Big Al's Oyster The Orleans:
I’ve eaten at the oyster bars at the station casinos and figured this one would be similar. First walking up is a VERY STRONG FISH ODOR. Which I ignored and chalked it up to it being because it’s a fish house. I ordered a dozen oysters and should have known better when I didn’t have a choice of what type of oysters to choose from. They were small, had no juices with them and weren’t cleaned properly or shucked proper... View all feedback. What Joanny Hudson likes about Big Al's Oyster The Orleans:
Nothing fancy, but great food, reasonably priced. Wine list was like choices, nothing over I like to consider myself a foodie and I love ambiance but for the price and what you get, I highly recommend it. View all feedback.

The menu selection is very good. Food is downright yummy. The service is good. We will be back for the food.
Ordered from the appetizer menu, food was good. Looking forward to ordering from the entree menu on my next visit.
Food amazing! Service stellar and atmosphere awesome! Went after movies.
We love the food here. Everything is always fantastic! Service could be better but regardless, we'll be back!
Tried the Louisiana Gumbo twice within a week and was excellent both times. The service could be better but the food made up for it.

While some complain of strong fish odors and poor oyster quality, others find the food outstanding and reasonably priced. The clam chowder is particularly popular among diners, with a fresh, flavorful taste. The restaurant is recommended for those who enjoy shellfish, but some customers have noted longer wait times due to busy cooks. Overall, the attentive staff and good food make this restaurant worth returning to, despite some minor issues.
