7th Carson is a small but mighty restaurant in downtown Las Vegas. It is located on a corner across from Tony Shea’s Downtown Project (7th Carson) and close to the Fremont Street Experience. Patrons can see the cooks making food in the brick pizza oven and open kitchen. A small bar is nestled in a space across from the kitchen. What makes this restaurant stand out is the quality of the food and the inviting menu where each selection receives a distinctive touch.
Had a reservation but waited almost 30 minutes to be seated. Great hostess, but we were rushed after being seated, and the food below average for price. Our waiter actually scooped up food (without asking us) before we were finished and didn’t look back. Very noisy and tables were too close together. The hype certainly did not match the experience.
Food was fantastic as was the service. We had fish and chips (excellent, light, crispy), burgers (big), salad for the table (request light dressing unless you like a lot), ceviche (on the spicy side for those who love jalepenos). Inside dining can be a bit noisy but they have ample outside seating. That was the reason for fewer than 5 stars, it's a personal preference. We will absolutely go back! Highly recommend.
My wife and I recently had the pleasure of visiting 7th Carson for brunch, and I must say, it was an exceptional dining experience from start to finish. We indulged in a delightful array of dishes, including Bottomless mimosas, Shrimp Ceviche with Blue Corn Chips, Classic Margherita Flatbread, and Avocado Toast, and we were blown away by the incredible flavors and presentation.Let's start with the Bottomless mimosas. Not only were they refreshing and delicious, but the servers were attentive in ensuring our glasses were never empty. It's rare to find such dedicated hospitality, and we truly appreciated the attentive and friendly service throughout our meal. Now, let's talk about the food itself. The Shrimp Ceviche with Blue Corn Chips was a perfect blend of tangy and fresh flavors. The shrimp was cooked to perfection, and the combination of ingredients made for a mouthwatering bite every time. We couldn't get enough! The Classic Margherita Flatbread was another standout dish. The crust was perfectly crispy, and the balance of tomato sauce, mozzarella, and basil was spot-on. It was a classic dish done exceptionally well, and we savored each bite.Lastly, the Avocado Toast was a brunch staple that did not disappoint. The bread was toasted to perfection, and the avocado was beautifully seasoned and mashed to a creamy texture. The addition of fresh toppings elevated the dish even further, making it a satisfying and wholesome choice. What truly set 7th Carson apart, however, was the hospitality we experienced. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel like valued guests. Our server was knowledgeable, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. The attention to detail and genuine care for our dining experience made us feel special and appreciated. In conclusion, our brunch experience at 7th Carson was nothing short of exceptional. The food was incredible, bursting with flavors that delighted our taste buds. The hospitality was out of this world, making us feel like VIPs throughout our visit. If you're looking for a place to enjoy a fantastic brunch with top-notch service, I wholeheartedly recommend 7th Carson. We can't wait to return!
