OMG this was one of the best sandwiches I've had in a long time. Capriotti's had a shop in Downtown Dallas where I'm from so I've been knowing about them for some time now. I'm headed to Nashville here shortly but by wait... Not before I get me another sandwich ? View all feedback.
What Jay Romo doesn't like about Capriotti's Sandwich Shop:
I’m disappointed. I loved this sandwich shop. unfortunately, the individuals running it are unable to adequately provide customer service and food delivery. My hot sandwich sat for 20 minutes as I waited, and then they provided it to me with no apology, but merely slid it across the table and I walked out. Please do better or sell the business. Came into order an 18-in, and because the Italian sausage and the meatball are the same price, I just wanted half and half sausage and meatball. They refuse to do it.There's no reason to refuse to do it, and they expected a tip. For basically doing nothing.Service is not worth it here. And the sandwich is just average
I normally don't have issues with the place and people who work there. However, this day in particular I decided to cater. Placed the order at 11:49A.M. and requested to have it ready by 3:30P.M.-4P.M. The manager said 4P.M. would be better and I was okay with it. When it was time for me to pick up the order, I entered the shop and I don't see anything for pick-up. Thinking they probably had it in the back. NOPE!!! 3 kids walk in giggling and smelling like marijuana, recognized me and now they're BARELY making my order as if it was Hell's Kitchen and they're on a time limit to get it done in 5mins. They're grateful I have respect for their manager and scolded them a bit when I should've asked for a full refund!!! I spent $170.97 (THAT'S INCLUDING A TIP) for it to be ready with the time that benefitted them and IT WAS STILL LATE!!! Over 4 1/2 hrs and it was made in front of me. I don't care what anyone does on their personal time, but when it's an order and YOU give me a time to ensure it gets done and YOUR workers decide to hot box in the parking lot is no excuse to mess up this bad. I hope the manager gets it together, otherwise I'll go somewhere else where the workers take their job more seriously handling any food while being high.
Great experience here and great sandwich.got a free sub offer—so i checked it out with a 5” tuna half sub. packed with pure tuna, no annoying bits of celery or peppers, just fresh, delicious, unadulterated tuna. sub was made exactly as i ordered; asked for a bunch of extras and got generous portions. vegetables were crispy and fresh. bread is wonderfully fresh, but tends to get soggy within the hour — sandwiches are eat-now, not pack-for-laters.MUST say thank you to the underrated star of my experience, Tisha, for her wonderful management, holding the fort down on what seemed like a very busy day. she was alone at the register but unruffled by the lines and belligerent customer right before me. she soothed calmed the angry guy down and got him taken care of — he walked out smiling. her confidence and the way she handles her customers and her store makes ME confident to come back here to eat.
Anytime I come to Vegas, this is one of my first stops! I love the Bobby!!
I've had it with this location. I've had several negative experiences here over the past year. Between bad product outcome (got my order wrong twice), failure of integrity, and abysmal customer service, it's worth going out of my way when I want one of these sandwiches to avoid giving this crew my limited disposable dollars. They have proven once and for all they don't deserve our business. Do yourself a favor, avoid the frustration of trying to get a good Capriottis sandwich from these apparently lazy, inattentive folks. If you can't bother to walk my way or greet me when I come to give your establishment some business, I won't bother giving you business ever again. Forget you.
