What Lida B doesn't like about La Ola:
I was looking forward to eat in this restaurant a lot, we even came to the area just because of this restaurant. At the end it was little disappointment. We had a cocktail at the evening, barmen, weitres and owner where very plasent. Cocktails we had were recommended by the barmen and it was good decision. During the day we wanted to eat there but they didn't accept US dollars so we decided to move to another restaurant.
The best place we ate in Las Terrenas. Cocktails and dishes are delicious. The service is impeccable and prices are quite affordable. To be recommended without hesitation!
Home and service Restaurant oriented tourists. Lack of finesse in the dishes.
Yet another French owned restaurant but the surprise was good! French style revisited local dishes: the cook is a Dominican, so it's a safe bet. The value and quantity for money is excellent and the service is beyond expectations. I recommend this place and it deserves to be more popular! (visited Feb. 2020)
A very good typical restaurant, facing the sea, and run by a Frenchwoman Marie Laure who only cooks fresh products and offers beautiful sweet and salty combinations!! A haven of peace and a unique place to indulge yourself!! Do not miss !! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
