Picacho Hills Country Club - Las Cruces

Unfortunately I had a VERY bad experience there recently when I attended a group function there. Although I put my order in on time before the event with the group leader, for some reason everyone at the event was served except me. One other person also had to wait some, but I had to wait much longer while they cooked the noodles that the chicken dish I had ordered was to be served on. Unfortunately I was quite verbal about my displeasure over the situation which only resulted in the dish arriving with the noodles not being cooked as thoroughly as they should have been. Even so, my dish only arrived as everyone else was finishing desert. I will say that the chicken itself was quite tasty. Unfortunately I didn't feel the noodles were really edible although I ate some because I was hungry. The asparagus that others who ordered chicken received was substituted on my case with green beans. I don't really care for green beans, but ate most of them for the same reason. I've attended group functions there in the past where the food was excellent. But that was pre-CoVid and the resulting greedflation. My personal bad experience aside, I found the general quality of the food to be lower along with higher prices. That's a problem shared with some other local restaurants though. I would say to give this restaurant a try. I think my bad experience was somehow an odd fluke. The other people in the group were pleased with their meal, especially the salmon over rice.

Great greens. Terrible fairways. Not a very friendly staff.

I’m surprised I’m even giving them a star it’s freaked stupid!!! Nothing was right and food was awful. We never got the right food out Good luck coming here the ones at the gas station was way better.
