This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in the city. We go there with friends about three times a month. The food is fresh and delicious, and the chili is delightfully spicy. The service is excellent, but it's best to arrive early since it's always busy, though the wait is definitely worth it. I love the fried burritos, chile rellenos, red enchiladas, and salsa. I no longer live in LC, but I’ve been dining at Nellie’s for over 50 years. I’ve tried countless other restaurants in the area that claim to be just as good as Nellie’s, but none of them compare. Nellie’s is truly in a league of its own. View all feedback.
Really authentic Mexican food. Food was very good but they need to expand more room.. it was rather packed

Obviously Roddy Mascarenas is from up north and knows NOTHING about New Mexico food and real chile. he's used to that Espanola green. Nellies is known for their chile and great food. Roddy do us all a favor and stay up north and enjoy your flavorless food.
