The cleanse is pricey, but it really works for me! I tried their 3-day cleanse program and lost 5 pounds by the end of it. Since then, I've been using their juice and protein bars as a supplement. Eat With Purpose! Love their motto. I chose to Drink With Purpose this time! It's a bright and clean small shop well-stocked with pre-made, plant-based eats and drinks for a quick grab-n-go experience. I was debating between a more substantial meal-replacement shake and a green juice. The friendly staff happily provided recommendations and I opted for the former in the Mind Body Omega drink. Delicious and not too sweet and easy to drink...almost too easy as I was still hungry after downing 300 calories! It wasn't cheap at $9.99 but it was chock full of nutritious ingredients. I do believe that healthy food is worth paying for. Next time I'll Eat With Purpose and try their food options, some of which are now available at Shelton's market in Healdsburg!
Walk in stop in this covid day, a beautiful visit for a first timer to my surprise it was woman power all over. On this stop I had happy belly chlorophyll refresh lemonade stopped next door for coffee, Refreshing taste. Little known fact these businesses are woman owned! Urban Remedy was founded by my dear friend Roxanne Klein's friend Neka Pasquale.Neka always believed in the power of organic and living vegan foods for the purpose of healing.Urban Remedy began years after Roxanne's famous living foods restaurant located in Larkspur was closed.I sense that Neka knew exactly what did not work for the county with also having the local Cafe Gratitude closing down as well, that a small bodega of juices, living foods and some salads and wraps in kiosk type fashion would do the trick.The quality of her products are unsurpassed.She has over the years changed the line of products some, but still trying to keep the quality high.I do miss all of those amazingly delicious raw vegan desserts and meals that Ingha made.Maybe they will find such an amazing chef to create some new products soon.????????
Food really is healing and I think UR delivers with its whole lineup. Feels and tastes like extremely fresh and high quality ingredients. Staff is always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. And the bars are the best bars around!
I walked in crabby and depressed, ate a collard green burrito and felt amazing after.
