They had to get up and grab their o... read more We received poor service on a Friday night at this restaurant. We were completely ignored, as were the customers next to us. They had to get up and grab their own food from the counter. The waitstaff seemed to be just standing around. It appeared to be an off night, but there is no excuse for such poor service.

This restaurant is a fantastic place with excellent service and a wide selection of delicious sushi. I waited 20 minutes to go pick up my order.. This was my first visit to Tensai, and I thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant. The lighting, fixtures, and decorations all contributed to a lovely... read more This was my first visit to Tensai, and I thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant. The lighting, fixtures, and decorations all contributed to a lovely atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for a romantic sushi dinner. The food was fantastic as well; the rolls tasted incredibly fresh and were beautifully presented. I tried the mango roll, which was delightful, and the white rice with chicken was also excellent. The service was decent, though it seemed like they might have been short-staffed during my visit. Overall, I would definitely return.
