It seems L’Aquila the capital of the Italian province of Abruzzo) is not exception. The place seem to be in a residential area in the hills, but once you get to it, it has a nice ambiance outdoors and indoors. It is a good size restaurant with white table clothes good wine selection. You do not select from menus: your waiter, perfectly dressed in a black suit, will bring you about 12 fish abundant appetizers to share. Then they suggest a couple ‘primi’: homemade pastas or risotto with a variety of options ranging from lobster, to local specialities. Then they offer you ‘Secondo” which could be grilled fish/ seafood, or any combination: grilled, roasted, baked, etc. The bottle of wines have been ‘flowing’: they have great selections of Pecorinos from the areas of Ofena, Chiete Pescara, etc. Perhaps you should save space for dessert after dinner drinks! The cost is very reasonable about 70 euros a couple) service is good.

Excellent coocking, tasty and served in time to be degustated in a very nice plate composition. A place you must visit if u are in town. You won't leave unsatisfied : i highly recomend it
