Subway - Lansing
Subway
Description
At this local eatery, customer experiences vary significantly based on the staff on duty. While some patrons appreciate the friendly, attentive service, especially from younger employees, others report frustrations due to long wait times, staffing shortages, and inconsistent food quality. Complaints have arisen about the management's treatment of staff, resulting in a tense atmosphere that affects service. Although occasional highlights include fresh cookies and accommodating staff, many diners express disappointment in receiving incorrect orders or unprofessional interactions. Ultimately, the dining experience appears heavily influenced by employee attitudes, with a call for better staffing and training to enhance consistency.

I have a pizza with a few sweets. the pizza is small, the toppings are big. I asked her to cut her up because who likes to take a bite, the whole piece of tomato come out? they don't want to get that, so I can still get bigger pieces than I want.
Today was not the best experience. I go twice the week and the younger two staff members who are in the regular there, give me the best service every time. they kill it together. However, the older female/male team was not a pleasant experience today. he was distracted or half listened, so I got the wrong brot and didn't want to add the extra cheese. then she was irritated (def 40’s), I wanted to add the dinge in the sub. I have never heard that the special documents come as it is and if that is the case, I will order it as byo. the flesh would be the same so I'm still being charged like the special sandwich. I was very polite, although I was irritated by her lack of professionalism. pro tip they call their customers not by lil nicknames like hun, sweetie etc. a person like I hate that. just to avoid that someone uncomfortable use professional understood in a professional environment. all in all it is a regular subway, I think it is the workers who have a great influence on their experience.
Subway is one of my favorite places to eat. I always appreciate that my order is consistently correct.
Today's dining experience was not the best. I visit this restaurant twice a week and usually receive excellent service from the younger employees who work there. They work well together and always provide great service. However, today was different as the older female and male team did not provide a pleasant experience. The male employee seemed distracted and did not listen properly, resulting in me receiving the wrong bread and missing the additional cheese I wanted. The female employee, who seemed to be in her 40s, was irritated when I tried to customize my sub. I was surprised to learn that the Specialty Subs cannot be changed, and if that is the case, I will just order a Build Your Own instead. Although I was polite, I was frustrated by their lack of professionalism. A tip for future reference, it is not advisable to address customers with nicknames like "hun" or "sweetie," as some people may find it disrespectful in a professional setting. Overall, this subway is just like any other, but the experience heavily relies on the employees' attitudes and service.
