We've been to this town a f... read more During a recent five-day stay in this charming town on the Mississippi River, I visited this restaurant with six friends for dinner. We've been to this town a few times because the scenic roads along the river are perfect for motorcycling. Our waitress was incredibly friendly and took the time to patiently explain their best dishes. She highly recommended the nightly special, which included two pieces of chicken and two pieces of deep-fried battered cod. She was spot on; the fish was fantastic! Even the coleslaw was excellent, as were the homemade American-style potatoes. The only drawback is that they don't accept credit or debit cards, but there is an ATM available in the adjacent business. If you find yourself cruising through the upper Mississippi River valley and are looking for a bite to eat, I highly recommend this place!

I would return to this bar again if need beit wouldn't be my first choice but it wouldn't be a bad choice either.

Last night I told my hubby we should chec... read more We have been coming to Lansing for years but never stopped at the Other place mostly because we had teenagers with us. Last night I told my hubby we should check it out. They were following the social distancing and cleaning policies. The bar staffmade for a very fun atmosphere. Loved they were collecting donations for Cedar Rapids for Iowa?s huge August storm. Definitelywill be back!

We have gone back every time in Lansing. No outside sitting at this bar.
