We almost turned around due to the smell in the lobby. We didn't ask what had happened, but it was obviously a sewer issue. Once we got into the restaurant part the smell was gone. I told my friend once we finished eating and we're on the road again, next time we just eat pancakes and not venture off until the other items. It was quiet and the food was hot. Our server was real nice and attentive.
Food and service are top notch. The atmosphere is comfortable and clean.
I ordered a steak sirloin tips they did not have Heinz 57 steak sauce which I usually use and it was better then if I used to steak sauce

The chicken sandwich was just blah and a very small portion of meat. My friend ordered hers with a biscuit instead of a bun, and that was a huge mistake because the biscuit just fell apart. Not in a good way either. So next time remember to stick with what they're known for, which was our mistake. Overall eating out has become very expensive and IHOP was no different.
