When I reached the window, the... read more This was my first visit to Checkers, and it will likely be my last. I ordered the Buford combo with fries through the drive-thru. When I reached the window, the male clerk was on his cellphone and responded to me in a rude manner when I spoke to him. He clearly seemed to be in a bad mood. I apologized in case I had done something wrong, but he didn't seem to care. Once I received my order, I realized it was incorrect. I didn't want to deal with the employee again, so I just drove off. The food quality was okay; the fries were indeed as good as people say. However, I still prefer Portillo's overall. I probably won't give Checkers another chance.
