Lived in LA for many years and was so happy to stop in here and eat amazing Tamales, carne Asade Burrito and chorizo Quesadilla. Spicy but not overpowering and made with so much love! I’ll be back too often View all feedback.
What El El doesn't like about El Tapatio Mexican:
We were not happy campers with all of what we ordered. The quesadilla was half acre made. I feel bad they only had one person for this size restaurant cooking, taking phone orders etc… waiting time was a lil longer , that was expected ,at least the cook phone lady informed us but we didn’t have enjoyable food, after all their prices aren’t that inexpensive. They recently moved in/combined with Rio Dulce. The food is the same quality it’s always been. Best Mexican in the area without a doubt. I’m always happy with whatever I order here.
The gorditas were delicious! We will definitely be coming back.

My wife and the other 2 ppl were not happy nor did they eat it, threw 3 dinners in the trash. They were so mad the 3 of them went out to eat at the steak house close by without me. .
The food was delicious and legitimately authentic. We'll be back!
You aren’t really going to find better in the area in terms of authentic Mexican. Delicious!
