At 4:28 PM on a Sunday I placed an online order for curbside pickup with a pickup time of 4:45 PM. I checked in when I arrived at 4:46 PM. At approximately 4:55... read more At 4:28 PM on a Sunday I placed an online order for curbside pickup with a pickup time of 4:45 PM. I checked in when I arrived at 4:46 PM. At approximately 4:55 I went into the store to see if I could just grab my order. I was told by a soft spoken employee working the register that they were, slammed and that Sundays are really busy. She repeated this to every customer that walked up to the register or called the store. I left the store without food at approximately 5:15 PM. Thirty minutes after the food was supposed to be ready. We are fortunate enough to be able to afford takeout as a treat. In order to make a takeout dinner work with a two year old we stick to a schedule which doesn 't factor in 30 wasted minutes travel time with nothing to show for it. What I saw while in the store was a lot of hard working kids. No one looked above 20. No one was managing these kids and they were visibly overwhelmed. There was no triage, no directing work, and no guidance from someone who was clearly in charge. I don 't fault the workers for returning home empty handed. I do fault the ownership. If Sunday is your busy day, have someone in charge to give these kids a chance to be successful during their shift.

My fiance and I visited Culver's on Saturday, Aug. 6th around 4 p.m. Before ordering, I requested that the food servers use tongues to grab and put french fries... read more My fiance and I visited Culver's on Saturday, Aug. 6th around 4 p.m. Before ordering, I requested that the food servers use tongues to grab and put french fries in the bag. The cashier explained that they have gloves on. I then explained to him thatthe servers were touching each other, adjusting their hats and touching the counter before grabbing my fries and putting them inthe bag. They never changed their gloves after this or after taking orders to the cars outside. What's the use of them wearinggloves if they're touching everything and serving food after. The gloves are dirty and contaminated and I find that disgusting.The server then proceeded to play with the tongues that were given to him. And when our order came up, he began to grab thehamburger boxes with the tongues while saying, well they wanted me to use tongues. I found this servers behavior to befacetious. And the manager was no help. His response to seeing and hearing this servers behavior was, we have gloves on. I willnever visit this Culver's again!
