Very quick service, very clean, the kitchen smells are amazing as you sit a enjoy the company you are with. It was nice, but not as good as Somerville Thai, I had heard the opposite but I prefer the original. I felt my meal had a lot of vegetables, but lacked in seafood. The Tom Yum is nice, but once again limited chicken. We visited on a Tuesday and it was so quiet. The staff all very helpful and attentive.
Started out great staff where nice and it was BYO with no cork charge. Only problem was is they didn't have their own licence to serve drinks so we had to leave to get more drinks from BWSService was slow, had to ask for water and took a long time to take food orders (under staffed)Finally took order all went wellOur entrées came out and where all together, the food quality was ok I think the spring roles & curry puffs where frozen and re heated not hand made.5 minutes later 4 servings of Roti bread came out with no mains10 minutes later one main came out (Chicken Pad thai) no one had ordered chicken Pad thai, the waitress went away and then came back with the order book explaining there was chicken pad thai, I explained I had ordered chicken pad satay. She apologise and said she would re make.5 minutes later the waitress came out with my Chicken pad satay, still there where no other mains only my remade main (by this time the roti bread was cold)10 minutes later the other mains came out except my wifes thai green cury, I asked for my meal (chicken pad satay) to be re heatedMy meal came back re heatedNo rice was served with the mains and we where all waiting a couple of minutes later the rice was served with my wifes thai green curry, I opened my coconut rice and put my finger on the top and it was dead cold along with another couples rice (they where over it at this point and just ate cold rice) I asked for my rice to be re heated and then when handing over I realized there was a large hair in the rice and I pulled it out in front of the waitress, she seemed not to care!5 minutes later and my friends where half way through their meal my new rice came out and my Chicken pad satay was basically cold but I wasn't waiting again and didn't want a meal prepared for the 4th time. My chicken tasted like rubber and what was left of our roti bread was cold and hard as it had already been out for 15-20 minutesWater through the night was not refilled drinks where not offeredChef came out during the night and deliberately stayed away from our table Feel sorry for waitresses as they where doing the best to their abilityUnder trained and under staffedWould not recommend to anyone Would be better off getting Langwarrin Thai take away or Somerville Thai which is always amazingBusiness wont last long ran like this
What a lovely Restaurant, friendly and relaxing, lovely warm staff that look after you. The food was 100% very fresh tasty and well presented meals. This restaurant has a wonderful ambience. Good food great quality good times.
The restaurant presents as very welcoming, although the tables are a little too close. We were greeted by a very friendly young lady and shown to our table. Drinks were ordered and served without delay. Entrees were well presented and delicious, especially the garlic roti. Main meals were very generous and appealingly presented. I found the sweet and sour prawns to be neither sweet nor sour, just a few prawns with vegetables in juice. Quite tasty, but not what I expected. My husband ordered the whole barramundi, which he enjoyed it was a huge serve! Our guests ordered the satay chicken and honey pork spare ribs. The satay was a little lacking in true satay taste, with little peanut sauce. The ribs looked tasty and were as good as they looked.
