I never got a refund for thet coke. no glass with root beer. unless this team changes their ideas, this restaurant will remain open!

An amazing vegan experience awaits her in veggie bob 's kitchen! two visits to bob 's kitchen has given me a new appreciation for all food vegan. a delicious ch... read more An amazing vegan experience awaits her in veggie bob 's kitchen! two visits to bob 's kitchen has given me a new appreciation for all food vegan. a delicious chili planet bowl that I took out one at night gave me an experience that I should not miss. delicious. plump tasteful beans, perfectly boiled, within a delicious chili dish of aromen, which will make me sleepy and spoon directly on the last spoon, delicious! and then tonight! after a long working day, bob 's bbq offered me a couple perfectly cooked vegan hotdogs that convert them to veganism immediately! I can say, fleshy, tasteful and generous proportions, this was a delightful vegan hot dog. I encourage all vegan and non-veganers to visit bob 's kitchen when they enjoy a visit in fort langley.

Vegan food is usually like quinoa and kale, but veggie bobs gives you true vegan comfort food. A staple in our community!

We were there on a Saturday afternoon and it was quite busy and there was only one girl woking but she was so calm and lovely, and as result of her pleasant dem... read more We were there on a Saturday afternoon and it was quite busy and there was only one girl woking but she was so calm and lovely, and as result of her pleasant demeanour all the customers patiently waited as she took every ones order cooked...the meals and tried to keep up with the table clearing. A fellow joined her to help out with the afternoon rush as we were leaving (perhaps it was Bob himself? but we had truthfully waited 40 mins for our burritos. The mac cheese burrito was the table favourite. Also recommend the baked potato, add the nacho chips and it's a nice little meal. the veggie burger was not my favourite. Definitely an eclectic atmosphere. They provide ice water. It was a fun little surprise of a place with loads of character in Fort Langley.

I was so hoping that this would be a... read more A waste of money $16+ a plate) and I could barely manage to choke it down it tasted so bad. I went with my dad and husband. I was so hoping that this would be a wonderful vegan restaurant. Instead, we walked away feeling sort...of sick and grossed out. They feature an animal protein sausage. The staff person assured me it was not highly processed and that it was made on premises. OK, sounds good. I ordered the Taco Salad, so did my hubby. My fork was dirty. The carpets look like they have never been cleaned since they opened in 1978. Both my dad and hubby noticed the grime on the carpets and were shocked at their condition. The counter was dirty down by the cash register; just a dirty feeling over all. There are items stacked on tables that should not be there, the interior, I think is supposed to be eclectic, but looks like it was assembled by 'shopping ' in peoples garbage with no sense of artistry or style. It is just a collection of random junky furniture. When the taco salad came, it looked nice enough, although I was totally expecting an edible bowl for the price $16), so that was the first disappointment of many more to come). There were 10 or so corn chips sticking up around the perimeter and then lettuce, some avocado, cucumber, etc. The menu said that it included sausage, I thought it would be a sausage crumble resembling taco meat but vegan), but no it was NOT. It was sliced COLD vegan German Style thick) sausage! It had no Mexican flavour to it, nor any flavour at all, did I mention it was cold! It was cold! There was no dressing so I asked if salsa was included, my dad 's quesadilla had salsa, but he said it wasn 't, only two dishes came with salsa he told me. He did not offer any thing as an alternative or ask if there was an issue with the taste. I did tell him it was our first visit. So, OK, well, I guess I will add some hot sauce which they keep on the table. I don 't particularly like hot sauce, but I was desperate. My dad had treated us so I did not want to make a fuss, so I just kept on reluctantly nibbling away. After a long time, I discovered that there was actually some bean chili on the bottom- I was nearly done at this point. My husband did not even notice his chili and had bathed the dish in hot sauce which he said tasted terrible, and I thought he had never met a hot sauce he did not like. The bill for three dishes and nothing else was $56 and we left regretting that we ever set foot in Veggie Bob 's.
