Sushi Gio - Langley
Sushi Gio
Description
Sushi Gio, located near a Sandman hotel, offers innovative dishes like the Black Tiger Roll with fresh ingredients. While some customers were disappointed with cold tempura and salty miso soup, others raved about the tuna poke and Gio Dragon Roll. The seafood salad was described as a low-calorie feast, and the victoria roll received high praise. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated with friendly staff and delicious, well-presented food that left diners satisfied. Despite some mixed reviews, Sushi Gio seems to offer an overall positive dining experience for those craving Japanese fusion cuisine.

I really enjoy their deep fried California rolls and yakisoba at Sushi Gio! The food is delicious, well-prepared, and expertly cooked. I highly recommend this restaurant!
I absolutely love this new sushi spot! I highly recommend trying the pan-fried gyoza and salmon rolls. It's definitely become my new favorite place to go for sushi.
I really liked that all of the combo orders were packaged together. In the past, I have received my orders with all the items mixed in large containers that I had to separate. This time, everything was packaged perfectly.
This was our first time ordering from this restaurant and we were disappointed to find that the hot food was cold. The tempura was soggy and we thought the miso soup and gomae were too salty. However, the teriyaki chicken was still good despite being cold. Personally, I thought the sushi rolls had too much rice, but my daughter didn't mind.
The Yam Tempura Roll at this restaurant is absolutely fantastic. The tempura coating was perfectly crispy and delicious, while the yam inside was tender and sweet. The sushi rolls were tightly and neatly packed, and the rice was exceptionally good that day. Overall, a very satisfying dining experience.
