Samba Sushi - Langley
Samba Sushi
Description
Nestled in a cozy corner, this charming restaurant offers a mixed bag of culinary experiences. While some patrons rave about the delectable sushi rolls, such as the innovative Burning Cheese and the flavorful salmon bomb, others have encountered issues with inconsistent food quality. Complaints about overcooked beef and greasy seafood contrast with commendations for the attentive service and warm atmosphere. Many loyal customers appreciate the consistently good chicken teriyaki bowls and the welcoming staff, who create an inviting space. Despite some shortcomings, it remains a beloved spot for sushi enthusiasts in the community.

One of the best quality of food and services in Langley, if not the entire BC! I was pleasantly surprised by the experience. First for the food, we ordered Gucci roll, Burning Cheese Roll, Takoyaki, and the Makkeoli for drinks. The rolls are just way too tasty! Personally Burning Cheese roll was my favorite. For the service, the owner just knows how to make customers feel comfortable. If you care about the quality of food and great service for a reasonable price, then this place is definitely one of your top list.
The atmosphere at this restaurant is extremely inviting, and they provide excellent service, starting with a delicious salad appetizer. Their special rolls are unique and tasty, with standouts like the Burning Cheese, Volcano Roll, and the amusingly named Gucci Roll. The ingredients are fresh, and I highly recommend trying this place out. I find myself returning here every weekend, and the owner is a friendly and welcoming individual.
The salmon bomb was just divine! One of my favourite bites ever. Packed full of flavor. Even the other rolls I had were delicious. Will definitely return here again.
I recently tried a variety of dishes at this restaurant, including the veggie tempura roll, miso soup, edamame, gyoza, and avocado roll. Overall, the food was delicious, with the exception of the veggie gyoza which was a disappointment. Instead of being boiled and soft like it should be, it was crispy, fried, and dry. However, everything else, especially the yam tempura roll, was excellent.
I tried Samba for the first time today and was highly impressed. The food was outstanding, with everything tasting fresh and delicious. The hot teriyaki chicken was tender, and the tempura was perfectly crispy. Despite the busy lunch rush, the food came out very quickly. The prices were reasonable, and the lunch box portion was large. It was clear that everything was made fresh to order. The sashimi was delicate, nice, and served cold.
