Having read the reviews we decided to check out this restaurant as close to the Holiday Inn Express was busy with families when we arrived all the booths were f... read more Having read the reviews we decided to check out this restaurant as close to the Holiday Inn Express was busy with families when we arrived all the booths were full so we dsat at one of the tables. Friendly staff , with a large selection of beers, cocktails, shooters and wine. Menu offered a good choice of dishes and service was quick. John the Gm introduced himself which was a nice personal touch and our waitress Niaomi from Bolton was lovely. This is not a quiet restaurant but one with lots of people, TV screens showing sport and friendly atmosphere and well width a vsit.

The TV volume was extremely loud, making it difficult to have a conversation. However, the server was friendly and attentive. Overall, not a great experience.

The server was confrontational from the start and immediately informed us that we missed happy hour. I had eaten at this restaurant before and found the food to be unsatisfying, so giving them a second chance was clearly a mistake. We decided to go to Brown's instead, where we were greeted warmly and enthusiastically. We were seated and served within 5 minutes, even though the restaurant was almost full.
