Maru has been my favourite sushi place for years now. My boyfriend won't eat anywhere else now, and is always disappointed with any other sushi restaurant we go to. The service is great, the food is great, and the costs are priced well accordingly View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Maru Sushi:
I thought that the portions were good but the rice was mushy on all of our rolls. Also a weird complaint but the tables were set really low so it was uncomfortable to sit at. I have never really thought about table height until I ate here but turns out it makes a difference. The service was alright, slow but decent. With so many other places in the area I have a hard time recommending this spot for sushi. View all feedback.

We've been eating hear since we discovered this restaurant years ago when we lived in Langley. We now live in Mission and even though there are several sushi places to eat here we still drive to Langley for Maru Sushi because its truly the best...More
My spouse and I ate there just before New Year just to get a sushi fix for our cravings. I have not heard of this place before and I was not expecting any spectacular experience. We were given 2 small portions of edamame gratis. My review on each item we ordered:a. Miso soup - it was okayb. Fried California roll - crunchy outside, tasty insidec. Roll with Scallops on top - this s the bomb !!! so delicious and creamy outsided. Uni - $4 a piece but generous portion, so fresh that you can not even taste the fishy aromae. Sockeye sashimi - so fresh and good quality, less fat, looks like it came from wildOverall, the food was good. The price was just right. The little cubicles makes your dining private. What most impressed me was the service we got from the wait staff who looks like high school students. They were very attentive and efficient workers. They were very well trained. The service was real excellent.
