Feedback
The experience at this local Chinese restaurant offers a blend of expectations. While some patrons rave about the generous portions and delightful flavors reminiscent of popular chains, others express disappointment over a Westernized take on traditional dishes. Complaints center around heavy, overly rich meals lacking authentic Chinese authenticity, with meals that feel more akin to food court offerings than true culinary delights. Service is consistently friendly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere, but the food’s quality remains a point of contention. Overall, the restaurant presents a varied dining experience, making it hard to recommend universally.
During our trip to BC, we stumbled upon this restaurant and were pleasantly surprised. The food was not only flavorful but also served in generous portions, offering excellent value for the price. We will certainly return if we're in the area again! Thank you!
The portions are ample, with an emphasis on American Chinese cuisine. Everything is served piping hot, and the staff is exceptionally friendly.
I had high hopes for this place, but it turned out to be disappointing. The quality is similar to what you’d find in a typical food court. While the portion sizes were generous, the flavors just weren’t there, and we ended up losing interest halfway through the meal. Everything was overly heavy—thick batter, thick breading, rich sauces, and excessively sweet. The fried rice barely had any vegetables. One of the dishes was supposed to feature beef, but it was mostly large chunks of onion, cabbage, zucchini, and a lot of celery, with only a few thin shreds of beef scattered throughout.
This was our first time ordering from Lin?s and WOW we all were so impressed with the quality of our meal. We especially loved the Ginger Beef. I never think to call to complement the take out restaurant, but really wanted to tonight. Thank you so much.We will be ordering again!
