Dot's Cafe - Langley
Dot's Cafe
Description
Despite some negative reviews, Dot's Café in downtown Langley is worth a visit for those looking to support small, independent restaurants. While some previous guests found the breakfast bland with slow service, others enjoyed the delicious omelettes and affordable prices. The restaurant has recently changed ownership and now offers great food options for breakfast and lunch, including special Prime Rib nights. With a mix of opinions, Dot's Café may not be for everyone, but those looking for a hidden gem in Langley should give it a try.

A Saturday morning at 9 am. The place was empty. The reviews not so good. Went in anyway.Service was prompt. Decor is old and clean old. Ordered a Bennie and a breakfast special. Food took about 10 min to arriveThe Bennie:Eggs cooked perfectSmall eggsCostco thin ham rounds. That's ok.English muffin was not toasted at all?Hollandaise sauce, ok, but not real flavorful.Shredded hash browns just weird.Shredded individual like onion straws, and very crispy?Breakfast special:Bacon eggs hash browns & toast The bacon was over crispy and tasted ..... funny.....not like baconThe rest was ok.By 10 the place was 1/2 fullAll in all I would give it a 2 -3Won't rush back, won't completely avoid if in the area. There is lots nearby that is way better
This is a friends regular eating place for breakfast. He takes me there regularly. Dont expect anything fancy. They do what they do well basic food
This little cafe has changed owners recently, and I'd be surprised if they stay in business. I had to wait over twenty minutes for by corned-beef sandwich, even though there was only one other table occupied with 4 customers. Instead of thinly sliced meat, I got a single piece of carned beef in my sandwich that was so tough that I couldn't bite through it! I had to cut it with my table knife. In a word - horrid.
Charming little cafe in old Langley, although it has a dated feel which adds to its charm.
