They use wild salmon for the s... read more First of all this place was open on New Years Day! Wasn't expecting too much, I was so surprised. The food and staff are AMAZING! They use wild salmon for the sashimi, dinner boxes were a decent size and really tasty, the sunomono wasn't too sweet, presented nicely, service was quick. The only downside is that the restaurant is very small. My kamakazi roll was perfection!

I enjoyed... read more As someone with celiac disease, I informed the staff when I arrived at the restaurant and they were very knowledgeable about my dietary restrictions. I enjoyed the "real crab" California rolls, which were delicious, and I also ordered the salmon teriyaki without the sauce. The dish was served on a sizzling platter with sesame oil and tamari, prepared separately to accommodate my needs. I added some ginger from the sushi to my miso soup and tamari for extra flavor, a helpful tip for fellow celiacs. The food was tender and satisfying, and the service was excellent. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant.
