Langley Kitchen
Langley Kitchen
Description
Tucked in Langley, this bustling kitchen serves creative takes on classics—tasty sandwiches, pastries, chicken pot pie and snowball cookies—ideal for coffee runs and takeout. Counter service is friendly but can be slow; outdoor-only seating is cozy with overhead heaters yet can feel crowded and chilly. Some items feel overpriced and plant-based choices are limited. Expect quick, well-made drinks, imaginative daily specials and occasional unexpected closures, with a compact menu that may discourage very frequent visits.

Fantastic experience today with our pup on the patio. Everyone was pleasant and warm. Thank you for the beautiful hospitality and delicious food!
Ordered a bowl of clam chowder to go...Menu claimed $8 but it rang up as $9.25?Cost seems steep to me for a single bowl of chowder...would have felt a lot more comfortable at $5Flavor was pretty good but chowder was excessively watery...Also, they didn't have fresh ground pepper and salt or bread crumbs at the beck and call for the overly priced chowder...
Went here today to get a quick drink as I was going to be running around Langley all day. Immediately greeted with a smile by the lady at the door and quickly ordered a Chai Tea Latte. The price was very cheap for what it was, and when it came out, they made it very nicely and quickly. But the Chai was very, very spicy, and burnt my throat. But I'm pretty sure that's just how Chai is sometimes. Amazing atmosphere, everything is comfortable and nice.
What a delightful restaurant to visit! We tried the blatt and egg sandwiches, and both were absolutely delicious.
A recent stay in Langley last week included having lunch here at the Langley Kitchen. We were glad they were open on a Tuesday. We loved the homemade chicken pot pies and ended up taking home a bag of their snowball cookies to enjoy with our coffee. Really good food and service. Eating outside was a bit on the cold side and rather close quarters to jockey and find a spot to sit (husband in WC). Other diners eventually left so we moved over with more warmth from an overhead heater. We would definately come back for another meal here.
