What User doesn't like about The Junction:
They have gluten free bread but couldn't be bothered cooking it in kitchen paper in a sandwich press. We were visiting at a quiet time. If you need to avoid gluten, avoid this place & go to the nearby Lodge at 24 Burns Bay Rd. The people at that cafe are helpful. View all feedback.

Very busy cafe. Great for people watching. Food and coffee good. Kids can run around in the plaza while parents enjoy their coffee/meal.
This is my go to, every saturday morning for breakfast!They do this great poached eggs on sourdough, with a bit of asparagus which is lovely to start your weekend with.Even on a rainy day, its lovely to sit under the covers and sip your coffee. Its very popular with the locals and generally family friendly. You do need to order and pay at the bar, and they bring the food out to you.
I have visited this restaurant multiple times and it is definitely my go-to spot in town for a tasty Acai bowl and amazing coffee. The staff is always friendly and provides excellent customer service.
