Abruzzo Gourmet Cafe Bistrot - LANCIANO

Highly recommended by local friends, it didn't disappoint! Such a great place to relax at the end of a busy day of walking and savoring the sights. Sitting right in the middle of this historic piazza with great views all around, people watching and enjoying a light dinner...perfect ending to a lovely day. They have a great selection of appetizers (typical local charcuterie), panini and pinse (pizza's lighter cousin). Order for the table to share and be sure to try the super refreshing spritzes. Of course they have the ubiquitous Aperol and Campari spritz but they have many really creative, memorable combinations as well! Lemon/mint, genziana/basil, violetta...yum! Wish I had one NOW!

I love this place. Great vibe and location. Quaint space with a menu that is light and refreshing. The restaurant owner is always so friendly. Tonight we ate on tables right in the middle of the public square (so fun). I am not Italian, but I come to Abruzzo, Italy frequently and I make sure to visit Lanciano and this nice restaurant.

Wat a great experience! The owner prepared for a special Pinsa made from vegetables and cheese andvto forget from a special dough. It was not on the menu list. Before we had some local made blond beer. All fantastic. With the Pinsa we had glasses of a great Montipuliciano red wine. Super tastefull! As a follow up a cheese platter made of local cheeses. Also not on the menu. Dessert was a home made Tiramisu. Super! The Grappa I got was delicious. Great place for having a romantic dinner outside next to the Basiliek! We can certainly recommend this restaurant for its food, drinks and service!

Young local and with an original menu at the right prices. great for those who want to have local dishes in a very central and suggestive position.

A young and youthful place! aperitifs and cocktails in Abruzzo style, special ingredients for unique combinations. from the upper room a breathtaking view on the square, with sunset then. unforgettable.
