Called in on a quiet afternoon for a meal with my wife and in-laws. Great friendly service and delicious food. Had the salt and pepper squid which was fabulous. Hamburger was enjoyed by my mother in law. My wife loved her red emperor. Thank you for such a lovely meal. View all feedback.

On my last visit the food was not to the usual high standard I’d come to expect at the Dunes. Our oysters Kilpatrick were cold and were sent back to the kitchen, but even after a further cook, they still weren’t crispy or warm enough....The garlic prawns I usually get were also not hot enough and the creamy garlic sauce much saltier. On my last visit the food was not to the usual high standard I’d come to expect at the Dunes. Our oysters Kilpatrick were cold and were sent back to the kitchen, but even after a further cook, they still weren’t crispy or warm enough....The garlic prawns I usually get were also not hot enough and the creamy garlic sauce much saltier. However the wait staff was friendly and not to blame. Changing kitchen staff is likely the reason for the drop in standard and hopefully they will be trained up quickly and soon the food will be delicious again. I just wanted to update my review as it changed and I don’t want to give people false information. I do dine here fairly regularly so will change my review when the food improves again.
Big plate of sauce and rice but very little beef ? When I asked about where's the meat the waiter just offered me another drink? I just wanted a good meal and value for
Oysters Kilpatrick and Garlic Prawns so fresh and perfect. Ribs were pretty awesome too with a delicious sauce, whoever’s cooking needs a pay rise! Thank you so much Bar staff and wait staff quick, friendly, helpful and hardworking with very good work ethic. We...watched as nearly every glass in the establishment got washed to within an inch of their lives. Not too busy even though it was school holidays. Second time here in a week and both times exceptional food and service. They must have a very good team working here and I hope they keep it this way. Congratulations The Dunes
We had a couple of meals at the Dunes. The service was friendly and welcoming. The first night we had fantastic fresh oysters and squid. Then rack of lamb and chicken breast which was superb. The next night we had delicious Thai chicken curry, Rohan...josh curry and deserts. Couldn’t fault it both times and recommend going for a meal.
Well looked after by Reece (Rhys My darling lusted over the smoked salmon salad complete with anchovies and I had the freshest greek sorry Rhys, the coffee was not to my liking even with a second shot good food, beautiful outlook
