The premises were very clean, the staff was friendly, and we had no issues with the food later on. We decided to try this place after having a great experience at Priory chippy in Ulverston.

Th... read more First time order tonight and definitely won’t be the last. Beautifully cooked fish and chips along with gorgeous gravy. Best fish we have had in a long time. Thick flaky fish and crispy non greasy batter. Thank you too for speedy delivery -food arrived hot and well packaged. Look forward to our next meal from you.

The delivery was on time, the driver was friendly, and even though the fish wasn't the largest for the price, I'll give them a pass because it was the best fish I've had from a fish and chips shop. They even included a lemon wedge which enhanced the flavor. The batter was light yet firm, the chips were soft but not soggy, and the steak pie I ordered was perfect. I will definitely be ordering from here again and would recommend it to others. A hidden gem in Morecambe.

Despite what Google may lead you to believe, the reviews are actually for a different location in Blackpool. Unfortunately, if you order online and pay for your food in Thirsk, they may not have any record of your order upon arrival, forcing you to pay again. It seems that the owners of Westgate Fish and Chips in Blackpool are aware of this issue but have not taken any steps to rectify it. Be sure to double check the location before placing an order to avoid any confusion and double payments.
