I visited here after finding it on this app. Limited vegan options that were restricted further by not being available e.g. no vegan cheese so couldn’t have a panini. Funny how places never run out of normal cheese! Had to have the vegan breakfast instead. Average. Made less appealing by not having HP sauce the one they did have was gloopy and tasted awful. In summary it was ok but so frustrating not to have what I ordered. Updated from previous review on 2023 08 26

The restaurant has a charming ambiance and welcoming staff. They offer milk substitutes for tea and coffee, as well as a variety of vegan options, including butter for the teacake. They also have vegan cakes available.

This cafe is a great spot with delicious vegan menu options. The background music was fantastic and the staff were friendly. The atmosphere is bright and comfortable. They offer vegan milkshakes, just be sure to check if they have ice cream in stock before you go. They also have a children's play area downstairs.

So Cafe (formerly Kerry's Coffee House) has been taken over by Chloe a former employee of Kerry's. We visited So Cafe a few months ago when we called for a coffee and vegan salted caramel chocolate brownie which was scrumptious and excellent coffee from local roasters Atkinsons. Today on a lovely sunny Tuesday and after a long walk to Heysham village and back, we called for lunch. We managed to grab a table and were pleased to see Covid precautions in place, hand sanitiser, well spaced tables etc. I asked which vegan cheese they offered and was pleased to find it was Violife (soya free as I'm allergic) so ordered a jacket potato with cheese and my husband chose a vegan sausage roll along with two pots of tea with oat milk. The food was excellent, plenty of it and at £3.75 £2.95 respectively, a bargain too with plenty top ups of tea, nothing worse than places that bring your tea just in a cup. Service from the young lady behind the counter and who seemed to be in charge was excellent, she was very helpful and friendly. I love So Cafe and it will be my go to place whenever we visit Morecambe. Updated from previous review on 2020-06-25

This charming restaurant is located on the promenade and offers outdoor seating. While the vegan options were mostly cheese-based, they did have a delicious raspberry rocky road available. Our party of two adults and two kids enjoyed a meal with drinks for only £21.
