Whether it be afternoon teas, buffet lunches, or three-course menus, the quality has been exceptional. I have had to double-check the bill a few times because I thought they were undercharging me - the drinks and food are both great value.

We had visited Coulson's before and had a wonderful time, but this event exceeded our expectations. The staff were extremely attentive and friendly, always willing to help. The food was just as good as our previous visit, with excellent quality, variety, and presentation. We sampled a range of dishes including Barbeque and Curried Chicken, Lasagne, Croquettes, Pasta, and Rice. The desserts were also amazing, with options like Berry Tart, Cheesecake, Chocolate Log, and my personal favorite, Bread Butter Pudding.

The overall experience at the restaurant was enjoyable and the food was delicious, however some dishes could use some adjustments and the bread lacked salt. The... read more The overall experience at the restaurant was enjoyable and the food was delicious, however some dishes could use some adjustments and the bread lacked salt. The main course could use some improvements and the dessert could use some added crunch. It was nice to revisit College at Lancaster and Morecambe College for a meal.

Service can be a little slow at times, but it is nice to go at a leisurely pace when eating. The restaurant is run by the students and staff from the cooking, serving and everything else. It is great experience for them and a great experience for us too. The students and staff are always friendly and do seem to be trying their best throughout. The quality of the food is excellent and very well presented. We will certainly be back again soon to try out other food they have.

The students did everything from cooking to serving the themed menu's, all local produce, a red and white theme for the tables, all the table mats were scenes of Lancashire and we even had a Lancashire Tasters table. To top it all off they made us Birthday Cake. Full marks for attention to detail. Well done Coulson's
