The location is unique, in an old converted school bus with additional built-on sections. The fish rolls are particularly popular, served on a hot dog bun with a special sauce. The food is decent, but the restaurant needs to be more organized during busy times. Things move slowly and it feels more like a casual chip truck than a gourmet establishment. The hot dogs could be served hotter and the fries are just average. The service could be quicker and a smile from the staff wouldn't hurt. There is a lack of customer service and the hours of operation can be inconsistent. The restaurant could benefit from a modern makeover to meet today's standards. The old, run-down bus has definitely seen better days.

Every Thursday, on my way home from work, make a stop at Loretta’s to pickup a poutine for our daughter. Great fries, curds and tasty gravy. Lots of everything and the price is right.

I personally don't see the appeal of using a hot dog bun for serving fish, especially quality fish. It seems to be common practice in this area, with everyone claiming to have the best perch rolls. Can someone please explain to me why perch rolls are typically served on hot dog buns? I tried another restaurant for perch rolls after hearing so much hype, but I just couldn't get over the choice of bun.

We first had lunch in the Lancaster Pizzaria, but the perch was so small and pricy we had to go to Loretta's for a perch roll to fill-up. There was twice as much perch for about 1/4 the price. Though Loretta's sauce leaves something to be desired. The roll was satisfying, non the less.
