Description

Bob Evans offers a mixed dining experience that varies widely from visit to visit. While some patrons rave about the efficient service and hearty meals—highlighting dishes like the chicken noodle dinner and flavorful salads—others express disappointment with particular items, such as the overcooked oatmeal and portion sizes. Service can be hit or miss, but many appreciate attentive waitstaff who aim to enhance the dining experience. Overall, while some guests leave satisfied and ready to return, others feel that certain meals and inconsistencies may deter future visits, solidifying Bob Evans' status as a restaurant that can be both delightful and frustrating.

Worst custom service I’ve ever had to deal with. The lady on the phone was so rude and hung up on me, I wish she would have said her name so I could put that on here too.

Firstly, the staff was quite unfriendly. The waiter seemed disinterested in serving me. My eggs were completely unseasoned, the hashbrowns were burnt, and the pancakes lacked butter and had an odd taste. The only highlight was the caramel mocha, which was enjoyable. However, it took an eternity to settle the bill, as they were experiencing problems with the payment process. Overall, the employees were quite aloof, and I don't plan on returning anytime soon.

What keeps me coming back to this place is the feeling I get when the check arrives. I always leave feeling well-fed and taken care of, and the bill usually comes to around $32 for two people, which never fails to put a smile on my face. I could easily eat at Bob Evans every day if I wanted to. The seating isn't the most comfortable, and at certain times of the day, the light filtering through the blinds can be a bit harsh. However, this might work in their favor, as it encourages customers to keep moving. My wife and I dine here weekly in the early morning, and I highly recommend the Ride and Shine burger and the southwest avocado bowl. If you're in the mood for something different, try the biscuits and gravy to-go—it's a fantastic lunch option for work!
