Bob’s Backyard Barbeque - Lancaster

The meat lacked flavor and the sauces were dry. The macaroni was also disappointing. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

Bobs Hinterhof bbq has been attending my high-time event and everything was absolutely delicious! everyone agreed on how good it was to eat!

Large service. the best bbq and the cheesecakes and corn-caserole were the bombs!

I visited two barbecue restaurants in Logan, Ohio, but they were both too busy with a 2-hour wait. I then searched for the best barbecue in Lancaster and found Bob's Backyard Barbecue. I really enjoyed their pulled chicken sandwich with Smokey BBQ sauce and the delicious cheesy potatoes. I am someone who is honest about food, and while the food was great, the restaurant was uncomfortably cold. We ended up leaving to watch a movie at Zane Square (Veteran's Park) down the street, which turned out to be a great experience. Unfortunately, our time was impacted by three disruptive and rude children who were very unpleasant to be around. These kids seemed to know they were misbehaving but continued to be disrespectful.

On July 28th, 2022 at 4:30 pm, I visited this restaurant. The music playing was terrible and almost made me leave. The server lacked personality and communication skills. It was hard to hear him and he kept his head down while speaking. He also failed to provide a receipt. The pulled pork was mediocre and lacked flavor without the sauces. The French fries were unsalted and there was no salt available on the tables. I am willing to give them another chance as I like to support local businesses, but they need to improve their service. I hope they read this review and make some changes. The portion size of the large sandwich was disappointing for the price of over $30. My three-star rating is generous.
