The fries in... read more This small, charming café offers friendly service and delicious food. I tried the wings, fish and chips, and poutine, all of which were fantastic. The fries in particular were excellent - fresh, perfectly cooked, and flavorful. I highly recommend stopping by to enjoy a meal here!

So we continued driving and unexpectedly found a chip... read more We had originally planned to have lunch at Lanark Landing because they have a terrace, but it was closed. So we continued driving and unexpectedly found a chip stand on the corner of George and Mill roads. What a find! The menu was surprisingly diverse for a chip stand. We tried the spicy chicken burger, hamburger, and bacon cheeseburger, and all of them were delicious. We ate at one of their two outdoor tables, as they didn't have more seating than that. However, customers could also take their food and enjoy it in a shaded spot at the nearby park along the riverbank.
