I am an conventional pizza lover. I don't like paper-thin, cracker-like crusts and topping of goats cheese and arugula. To me, that's not pizza. What Lanark Pizza serves is the real thing as far as I am concerned. Real, delicious pizza. Simple. Good. Traditional. Their...building is a little un-prepossessing. Don't let it scare you off. we ordered dinners as we were looking for a pizza when visiting lanark. platz came with several recommended, but unfortunately we were disappointed. ordered garlic bread, potato skins and a pizza. pizza was very thoughtful bounced and extremely greasy. the skin was cut in a round full of potatoes... in the half not thinned. simply cut with cheese and speck and served. felt and tasted like in a potato raw. The pizza is some of the best that i've had in a while, much better than any of the chains out there, and the service is always top notch/very friendly.
Excellent pizza and subs, friendly service, delivery if needed. Take out restaurant with only one small table.
Generous toppings, tasty tomato sauce and varied menu. Now offering a gluten free option as well. I like the house special but have ordered many different variations over the years.
This is a great little hole in the wall. Pizza is consistently good and they are willing to replace one or two items with lots of green olives. So what's not to love?!? :-)
We've had both take out and delivery. The food is always very tasty. It is always hot, delicious and plentiful!
