Watched the sun go down as we ate our dinner, we were luck to get a great table at the bar, as this place was quite busy. Great steak sandwich, and the giant frozen Pina Colada was delicious. Will definitely return! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Growlin Gator Bar & Grill:
The food was pretty good, the location and view was gorgeous however the service was slow for us but extremely slow for our kids. Our kids were seated at a different table than us, and waited over minutes to receive their bill, and...this was after they had already asked for it. The staff took so long that they missed the one reason we were dining by the dock the sunset. View all feedback.
Stayed at grand bend for the night and we decided to come here for dinner with our 2 kids. It was a patio style setup inside with wooden tables and patio chairs, a bar you can sit at and they also have an outdoor patio. The staff was friendly. The food was pretty good and prices were a little above average and the prices for adult drinks were a little high then what I'm use to.
Our server was good, but the food was so-so. Quinoa Kale salad was small. Fish in fish and chips were small portions. The place looks better than it is.
The location for this place is great. Our service was good. Food was only average. Drinks were average as well. But it was all about location and this wS great on a sunny day.
We made a late night visit to the Gator for some food and drink and were not disappointed. We received great service from the wait staff, plus they made very good food and drink recommendations. I would definitely visit the Gator again!
After leaving the disaster known as Coco's, I went here based on locals. Glad I did. Food was top notch, staff were friendly and pleasant and attentive. Place was clean.
